Deloitte has implemented workforce reductions by 170 jobs in Australia as part of a strategy to adopt outsourcing. The firm has also projected India's GDP to grow between 7.1% and 7.3% for the fiscal year 2027. Reports indicate Deloitte is aligned with a broader trend among big four firms to focus on outsourcing. The cuts come amid a challenging week for the company, with 200 consultants also being dismissed. The firm's financial transformation consulting role in Birmingham is still hiring applications open.
