Squeeze Benz Crash: Reckless Teen Driver Faces New Charges After Arrest

Antonio Ginestri, widely recognized online as “Squeeze Benz” for his audacious driving videos and frequent car crashes, finds himself in legal trouble once again. This time, however, the charges extend beyond reckless driving, encompassing a series of alleged ATM and luxury handbag thefts. Law enforcement officials have identified a stolen BMW X7, reportedly driven by Ginestri, as being linked to several of these heists.

Squeeze Benz gained notoriety for his provocative online presence, often taunting police across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. His brazen antics and documented car crashes became a spectacle on platforms like YouTube. In May, authorities from the NYPD and the New Jersey Public Safety Commission publicly identified 19-year-old Antonio Ginestri as the individual behind the “Squeeze Benz” persona. Now, Ginestri’s second arrest involves serious felony charges completely separate from his prior traffic violations, including the theft of designer handbags valued at approximately $38,000, in addition to ATM robbery.

The online persona of Squeeze Benz was largely built on a foundation of reckless driving and daring escapes, sometimes on foot after being involved in a car crash. These incidents, often captured on video, contributed to his controversial fame.

Recent reports indicate that this latest arrest is connected to criminal activities that predate Ginestri’s initial apprehension for his “Squeeze Benz” stunts. According to NJ.com, Ginestri was taken into custody on May 16th, several days before the official announcement linking him to the Squeeze Benz online accounts by the NYPD and other agencies.

Court documents related to the May 16th arrest reveal accusations of Ginestri stealing nearly $39,000 worth of high-end handbags while allegedly operating a stolen BMW X7. Investigators also suspect Ginestri’s involvement in earlier robberies dating back to January 25th and 26th. Furthermore, he is considered a primary suspect in ATM thefts that occurred on February 6th and 9th. A 16-year-old has also been arrested as an alleged accomplice in these crimes.

The young man who seemingly treated public roads as his personal racetrack, often documented in videos featuring near misses and car crashes, now faces severe adult charges. These include employing a minor in the commission of a crime, grand theft, and conspiracy. Currently, bail has been revoked in his case, and a new court date is pending. If Antonio Ginestri is indeed Squeeze Benz, as evidence strongly suggests, it is unlikely that his online followers will be seeing any new driving videos or car crash content from him in the foreseeable future.
