Apple began rolling out iOS 27 for users here in Australia as of this week. The new build is available for supported iPhone models. To install it, open Settings. Then open General. Then tap Software Update. The phone will scan for the update and show it if the device is eligible. Not all older devices will get iOS 27. The launch date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the release is underway now. Some iPhone users will get the update immediately. Others won't. The result depends on the handset.
