Walmart heir Lukas Walton has bought a minority stake in the Chicago Bulls and the United Center.
The United Center is the arena that hosts the Bulls and the Blackhawks.
The purchase makes Walton a part of the team’s ownership group.
Walton and his sister Samantha Walton have been recorded as the new minority investors.
The Bulls revealed the transaction on Friday.
The investment gives the Walton family a foothold in a prominent sports franchise and its arena.
It comes after a string of Walmart‑related deals announced this week.
