Su-57D: Russia Says It Will Fly Combat AI - MiGFlug

Latest News About New twin-seat Su-57 jet to receive combat artificial intelligence

Russia has announced that its two-seat Su-57 jet will fly with combat artificial intelligence. Russia labeled this new twin-seat model the Su-57D. Defense officials built the jet to counter Western fifth-generation fighters. Even so, the Russian fleet of Su-57 jets remains modest.

Meanwhile, a small European country currently maintains twice as many fifth-generation fighters as Russia. The disparity in stealth jets remains despite Russian efforts to install combat AI technology into the Su-57D. Simple Flying and MiGFlug reported on the limited inventory in addition to the planned artificial intelligence features.
