It reached about 1,000 meters in sea level and hosts surrounding ridges and peaks. The park lies roughly 120 km from Brisbane to the southwest. Visitors can experience hiking, climbing, camping facilities, and year-round waterfalls. Popular routes include South Ridge and Mezzanine Ridge, with access trailheads at designated car parks and information shelters. The park is wild and beautiful Gondwana Rainforests site hosting many rare animals and plant communities, adding to the landscape’s dramatic skyline.
