Latest News About Pacific coast quake sparks widespread tsunami warning

A 7.4 tremor shook Mexico’s Pacific coast shortly before 6 a.m. on Friday.

A wide tsunami alert was released for coastal strips through Mexico and Guatemala immediately afterwards.

The ground continually trembled, shaking towns further north into Guatemala and El Salvador as well.

Shortly after 4 a.m., a 7.3 quake shook the same area.

No reports of harm or collapsed buildings surfaced after the warnings.
