The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit firmly denied ex President Donald Trump’s request on Wednesday to halt the removal of his name away from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The judges in a brief said the request is unlikely to succeed while his appeal proceeds.
The decision suggests the Kennedy Center will keep Trump’s name off its building at present. Earlier rulings also overruled Trump’s effort to have the name restored. The case stays pending in the appeals process.
