Humana is discontinuing multiple Medicare Advantage plans in 2027. Non-renewal notices will be mailed in early October. One estimate says up to 600,000 members could face changes. Another estimate shows 64,000 seniors facing possible coverage loss. The letters will be sent in early October, as planned.

The company has not disclosed which counties or plan types are being eliminated. This affords affected beneficiaries a limited time to weigh options during Medicare open enrollment. The insurer has not provided a list of affected plans.
