The Scottish Government has pledged a £14m funding injection to support the refurbishment of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total expenses for the museum scheme now pass £50m. The historic site aiming to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has been locked for a prolonged period.
BBC and The Herald indicated the venue is projected to stay shut until 2029.
