Ford is recalling certain Ranger, Everest, Transit Custom and Tourneo models over a faulty gearbox problem. The defect appears in cars that were part of earlier recall campaigns. The recall targets only those built with the problematic transmission component. Alerts are going out to owners this week. They must book a inspection with their local dealer.
