Chase Elliott ran into the wall on Sunday at the Brickyard 400. He ended the race in 26th place. The car hit hard but Elliott stated the damage was minor. Subsequently, Alex Bowman said he will leave the sport after 2027. Bowman’s exit opens a vacancy that may go to Conner Zilisch in 2028. Elliott solely spoke about Bowman post crash, and avoided any driver reshuffle talk.
