BYD has stopped production of its cheapest electric car after weak demand prompted the move. Even with its affordability, sales stayed very low all year, so the company pulled the plug. As of now, no plan has been stated to replace it yet.
The brand then showed eight fresh models at the motor show. The collection included a small city runabout to bigger SUVs and crossovers. Visitors and reporters in the UK flocked in big numbers to see the new cars on display.
