Detectives are investigating a petrol bomb attack at a house in north Belfast on Saturday 22nd March.A report was received at 11pm on Saturday night, that a petrol bomb had been thrown into the garden of a house in the Hoylake Park area of the city. The device did not ignite however, and only minor damage was caused. Whilst in attendance, officers were informed that a second homemade device had been left at the property but that it had also failed to ignite.

Police are appealing for information following the discovery of a pipe bomb which exploded in a residential area of east Belfast. It was reported around 8.20pm that there was a loud bang heard from an alley in the Hyndford Street area off the Beersbridge Road. Residents were evacuated and cordons put in place.
