Alex Marquez injured in crash-strewn Catalonia MotoGP
Riders Alex Marquez and Johann Zarco are taken to hospital after high-speed crashes at the Catalonia MotoGP in a race won by Fabio di Giannantonio.

He was transported to hospital followed by surgical repair for a injured clavicle on the right side, and a small C7 fracture. The clavicle repair involved a plate. Gresini Racing stated he stayed conscious through the incident. Fabio Di Giannantonio won the race. Márquez will miss Mugello and Balaton races.
