Rarotonga, Cook Islands, 7 September 2023 - Cook Island border agency representatives, including from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration (MFAI), travelled to Aitutaki at the end of August with transport, airport, and airline representatives to review international flights clearance processes, regulatory requirements, and airport facilities to support international private charter flights into Aitutaki.
