Bill O’Hara stands as a seasoned veteran in the automotive industry, currently serving as the VP & GM of Operations for Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter of Hoffman Estates. His journey in the car world began in 1977 as a part-time porter while in high school, setting the foundation for a remarkable career spanning decades. Before joining Zeigler Auto Group, O’Hara honed his expertise through various management roles and even successfully owned his own dealership from 1994 to 2012.

Throughout his ascent in sales and management, Bill cultivated invaluable customer service skills, recognizing their pivotal role in business success. This dedication culminated in an impressive 2,000 unit sales year for both new and used vehicles at his dealership in 1999, showcasing his exceptional leadership and business acumen.
Today, Bill’s responsibilities extend beyond Mercedes-Benz/Sprinter of Hoffman Estates to include overseeing INFINITI of Hoffman Estates, and Jaguar Land Rover Schaumburg. Prior to his promotion to this encompassing role in January 2020, he demonstrated strong leadership within Zeigler, starting from his arrival in 2013. Initially, he was appointed GM of BMW of Orland Park. Following Zeigler’s expansion in 2015 with the acquisition of MINI of Orland Park, Zeigler Nissan of Orland Park, and INFINITI of Orland Park, Bill’s responsibilities grew as he was promoted to VP and GM of Operations in Orland Park, a position he held until December of the previous year.

Residing in Orland Park, IL, with his wife Wanda of 32 years, Bill is a family man with three children: Courtney, Kelly, and Will. Interestingly, Will O’Hara follows in his father’s footsteps as the current GM of BMW of Orland Park. Outside of his demanding career, Bill, originally from Michigan, cherishes time with his grandson, enjoys golfing and boating, and maintains a 25-year tradition of professional snowmobile drag racing with his son. Bill O’Hara’s extensive experience and dedication make him a driving force behind the success of Mercedes-Benz of Hoffman Estates cars and the wider Zeigler Auto Group.
