Squeeze Benz Arrested Again: YouTube Star Faces New Theft Charges

Antonio Ginestri, widely recognized as “Squeeze Benz” from his YouTube antics, finds himself in legal trouble once more. This time, the charges are significantly more serious, involving multiple instances of ATM and luxury handbag thefts. Law enforcement officials have identified a stolen BMW X7, allegedly driven by Ginestri, as being connected to several of these heists.

Squeeze Benz had previously gained notoriety for brazenly taunting police across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. His reckless driving videos and online provocations led to his initial identification in May by the NYPD and New Jersey Public Safety Commission as the 19-year-old Antonio Ginestri. Now, he faces a second arrest, completely separate from his prior charges, this time linked to the theft of approximately $38,000 worth of high-end designer handbags, in addition to the ATM robberies.

Ginestri’s online persona, “Squeeze Benz,” was built upon a foundation of reckless driving stunts and open mockery of law enforcement, often punctuated by fleeing the scene of crashes.

Our website has extensively covered the saga of Squeeze Benz, including his initial arrest. Following that arrest, the stream of content typically associated with the Squeeze Benz online accounts experienced a noticeable decline.

This latest arrest stems from alleged criminal activities that predate Ginestri’s first apprehension for his “Squeeze Benz” stunts. According to NJ.com, Ginestri was taken into custody on May 16th, a full five days before the public announcement by the NYPD and other agencies linking him to the “Squeeze Benz” identity.

Court documents related to the May 16th arrest detail accusations that Ginestri stole $38,950 in designer handbags while operating a stolen BMW X7.

Authorities also suspect Ginestri’s involvement in robberies dating back to January 25th and 26th. He is considered a primary suspect in further ATM thefts that occurred on February 6th and 9th. Adding to the complexity of the case, a 16-year-old has also been arrested as an alleged accomplice.

The young man who seemingly treated public roads as his personal racetrack now faces serious felony charges. These include employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime, theft by unlawful taking, and conspiracy. These “grown-up charges” as they are termed by legal resources, indicate the gravity of the situation.

Current reports suggest that the judge presiding over his case has denied bail, and a new court date is pending. If Antonio Ginestri is indeed the individual behind the “Squeeze Benz” persona, and evidence strongly suggests he is, it is highly unlikely that we will see any new videos posted to his account in the near future.
